Birst, a US-based multinational company for BI solutions in the cloud, entered into an agreement to provide their applications to Catho, one of the main job supply sites in the country.
In the project, carried out with the São Paulo consulting Pure DTS, distributor and Champion Partner of Birst in Latin America, automation and migration of all corporate data warehouse Catho for cloud Birst was held.
According to Sérgio Topfstedt, CEO of Pure DTS, the Birst solution was chosen for “being the most complete solution and 100% built in the cloud” with a quickly adjustable and scalable on demand system.
As pointed out by the executive, the data of about 18 million users were transferred to the cloud, a significant increase in the speed of data extraction and reporting and dashboards. The contract values were not opened.
For consulting services in Birst, the Pure DTS will use the Leega, consultancy specializing in BI, which is a business associate.
“Catho is a customer who is betting on the concept of Cloud Analytics. We want to bring this reality to the market, offering a solution that provides flexibility, cost savings, powerful infrastructure, governance, benefits data discovery more simply and cloud and a cheaper TCO, “added Topfstedt.
To land a contract with a big name like Catho, Birst continues with its strategy to accelerate its presence in the country. Recently the brand has signed an agreement with São Paulo Think Consulting, designating them as Champion Partner of the brand in the country and seeking new customers.
The consultant’s plan, accredited to meet Brazil and Latin America, is to close the year with ten major contracts, escalating the brand’s presence in the country for next year, when the plan is to reach about fifty customers.
“The focus of Birst is to take the concept of BI in the cloud to the enterprise level, with companies of large size and territorial presence, which can benefit from this technology,” said Rodrigo Carvalho, a founding partner of Think, in an interview with Baguette in July.
Birst recorded triple-digit growth in revenues in the last two years, and was included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant as a challenger, that is, one player on the rise.
Catho is the first 100% Brazilian customer implemented by Birst. The other case is that of Reckitt Benckiser, the English company that owns brands like Lysol, which adopted BI software initially in Brazil to use management and sales force. Then the company expanded the use for all its units around the globe.
Birst has global customers like T-Mobile, Roche, American Express, Citrix and Kellogg’s.
