Graydon Grows Revenue by Delivering Analytics Across Company with Birst Business Intelligence Solution

Overview: Graydon is an international provider of business information, with a credit report and business information network encompassing more than 100 million entities in over 190 countries worldwide.

Problem: While obviously believers in the power of big data to improve performance, making use of data internally was difficult, given different teams had their own reporting requirements and data sources to consider. The Marketing, Sales, Finance and HR departments within Graydon decided to collaborate and implement an analytics and business intelligence platform that would serve all of their needs.

Key Selection Criteria: The BI and Analytics solution needed to 1) bring together data from multiple internal and external sources, 2) create data visualization and analytic BI tools for different groups based on the same data sources, and 3) deliver ease of use for self-service analytics within departments.
