It recently used an ugly “nuclear option” to boost cloud sales, which earned the company the memorable headline, “’I felt like we were being extorted’: Customer says Oracle tried to strong-arm him into a cloud sale.”
Four reasons to stop being bullied by Oracle BI
October happened to be National Bullying Prevention Month, which aims to stop bullying by raising awareness and encouraging kids to stand up for others they see bullied. This is a fantastic movement. - Architecture: Oracle’s enterprise business intelligence solution is a legacy environment based on an antiquated single-tenant architecture. This can cost the average enterprise customer an additional $1.5 million in full-time support employees when compared to other, more modern platforms.
