It’s spring in San Francisco and Birst is getting ready to host our annual user conference, Birst FORWARD 2014, which brings customers, partners and colleagues from around the world to the city where Birst was founded and is headquartered. Spring is one of my favorite times of year and I’m looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm for this city, as well as some of the local sites and attractions, with Birst conference attendees.

This year marks our third annual Birst FORWARD event and, following the company’s significant growth this last year, it will also be the largest to date. In addition to the presentations and workshops designed to share BI best practices and hands-on training, the event also celebrates Birst’s customers and their continued success. By bringing together a group of like-minded individuals who rely on Birst technology to gain insight into how to better run their business, we learn from each other’s experiences, successes, and yes, mistakes too.  Among the most popular sessions are those where our customers share their own stories about Birst BI implementations and their analytics projects—I don’t expect it to be any different this year.

We’re thrilled to have so many of our Birst Alliance partners joining us this year, including our event sponsors: Acumen Solutions, Analytics8, Audaxium, BIPB, Cervello, Cloud Sherpa, Corsource, DMG Federal, Eagle Creek, EigenX, Intelligent Consulting, Nebula Partners, Netsuite, Primitive Logic, Salesforce, and TriCore Solutions. Birst’s partner network has grown tremendously, thanks to the increased demand for cloud BI and the enterprise analytic benefits Birst’s platform brings to business users.

If you haven’t checked out the agenda yet, there are three days across multiple tracks loaded with information-packed sessions presented by Birst experts, partners and customers. Be sure to check it out and plan your days. And of course, there are a few parties and social networking opportunities scheduled—this year we’ve planned a spectacular “Birst After Dark” event at Slide where we’re stepping back into the roaring ‘20’s at one of San Francisco’s original and still standing speakeasy’s.

We look forward to seeing you in the City by the Bay! Follow all the fun @BirstBI and share your Birst FORWARD 2014 experiences on Twitter with the hashtag #BirstFORWARD.
