It’s almost time for one of the largest vendor technology events: Salesforce.com’s Dreamforce 2013, taking place right here in San Francisco on November 18-21. With more than 120,000 registered attendees, Dreamforce 2013 promises to keep several of us captivated with more than 1,000 sessions and 350 companies at the expo. And sponsoring this year’s event, with a larger presence than ever before, will be yours truly: Birst.
There is always a buzz happening throughout the city during the week of Dreamforce and we expect this year for it to be at an all-time high. Not only will there be Grammy award-winning band Green Day at AT&T Park, but Birst is planning a jam-packed agenda filled with different speaking sessions, booths, contests, and parties. For more information on contests we’ll be running over the course of Dreamforce, check back on this blog next week, where we will be rolling out 1 contest per day.
Our very own CEO and co-founder Brad Peters will be speaking on Monday, November 18 at 2:00 pm in the Palace Hotel. Alongside Birst customer Jive Software, Brad will present “Cloud Analytics: Bringing Salesforce.com and All Your Applications Together,” and will discuss the business benefits of leveraging enterprise-caliber cloud BI to eliminate data silos. Many companies run their business on numerous applications with silo’d reports from each department. However, to optimize your sales, marketing and financial operations, you need to analyze your business across each silo. Birst creates a unified view of your organization’s business performance across operating units, providing the ability to manage all of your analytical needs and answering questions that span departments and data sources.
If you’re planning to attend, be sure to schedule a meeting with us–we’ll have two booths set up on the Cloud Expo floor, booths N1419 and N1413. Be sure to register for Dreamforce today at www.dreamforce.com. And follow all the event happenings on Twitter via @BirstBI and @Dreamforce.
