Big Data is no longer just a buzzword, and no longer limited to those with endless budgets that could afford solutions from established vendors. A number of emerging vendors provide both cloud and on-premise options with big data capabilities that are cost effective for smaller organizations. Nucleus analyzed the experiences of Birst customers to understand the business needs associated with their analytics solutions, their competitive short lists, and the characteristics and experiences that ultimately led them to choose Birst. In looking at Birst, Nucleus analysts found users were able to rapidly deploy and flexibly adapt Birst solutions to support changing data sources and business demands.
