Learn about additional resources that Gus is leveraging to further his knowledge of Birst. The module concludes with a short quiz to ensure that you are now ready to get started using Birst yourself.
Space and Data Management
- Deleting Processed Data and Spaces: In this module, you will learn how to delete data from your space after it has been processed and how to delete the entire space.
- Using Advanced Spaces Birst automates the process of creating a star schema data warehouse from your data but also enables users to customize the underlying dimensional model. In this module you will learn how to define drill down hierarchies, data source grains and column properties.
Reports and Dashboards
- Creating a Column Line Combo Chart: This module teaches you how to create a report with a column line combo chart. You will learn how to graph multiple metrics on two separate axes and how to calculate a metric as a percentage calculation based on two base metrics.
- Creating Dashboard Prompts: In this module, you will learn how to add prompts to a dashboard. The module covers query, list and value prompts, and explains how to set up cascading prompts in a dashboard.
- Using Conditional Formatting: Learn how to set up conditional format rules that help make values of interest stand out in a table report.
- Creating Analytical Calculations: Birst enables users to create powerful custom calculations based on base measures. Learn how to calculate ranks, percentiles, shares of totals, and much more.
- Creating Analytical Calculations 2: Would you like to create analytical report expressions leveraging positional calculations, filtered measures and decision logic? In less than 20 minutes you’ll be on your way to creating sophisticated analytical calculations in your reports. Please be sure to take the elearning module on Creating Analytical Calculations prior to this.
- Using Report Layout: Are you trying to create multiple reports and charts on a single dashboard? Looking for a little help on how to accomplish this?
